Green Addiction
Lately my spare time has been spent playing a new Ninetendo game for the DS I bought to occupy me during Hannah’s hospital stay. It is called Rune Factory a Fantasy Harvest Moon, someone has turned essentially homestead chores into a video game.
In the middle of everything going on I was plowing fields and watering crops. I’m still playing it instead of some of my regular chores. I guess my regular chores don’t usually give me passes to mysterious caves with treasures to seek and new creatures to meet.
Gabriel when avoiding going to sleep likes to lay next to me and watch me play. One of the other aspects of the game is that the character I am playing is suppose to be courting a girl. So when my character gives a girl a present he make that teasing voice sound that I’ve never used and says "Is that your girlfriend?" I guess that teasing mocking voice is actually hard coded into children genes.
